Not just for kids
I am not a parent, or do I have any young children in my life. I simply got this audiobook for my own selfish wants and needs to read something from my childhood.
I loved these stories when I was younger, and love them now. I was giggling through the whole thing. The narrator was amazing, the only thing that irritated me was his Piglet voice because he kept snorting when he was talking. (I get why he was snorting, but it wasn't funny it was annoying)
On a side note, I also really loved the music and sounds of the forest that accompanied the book, and wish adult books could have a musical soundtrack to them!

A lot of the characters are voiced terribly.
Many of the characters are voiced terribly. It would be for some one else did Pooh and piglet.

A classic for sure...but are you sure you want it?
Such classic material for sure. Nostalgic for me to hear it. But really, only got it because it was a give away, and put it on because I thought my kid would like it. He is 3 and wasn’t really interested.
Unless you got kids that somehow love audiobooks...spend your credit on something else :)

my boys loved it!
my four boys (9, 7 & 4 year old twins) loved it. The narrator was great, his voices were good and made my boys laugh at quite a few spots. I read the books as a child and it was great to share them with my sons. definitely worth it!

Favourite Childhood bear
I remember growing up watching the animated movies of Winnie-the-Pooh, never realizing till I was older that they were based on an actual book. I could see every scene from my childhood play out as I listened, though I realized there were some small differences between the book and the movie (as there normally are). I truly enjoyed this book, though I didn't necessarily like the narrator

The best Pooh ever!
There is a reason why Christopher Robin wants only Peter Dennis to read these stories: he understands the heart and soul of a bear - even one of very little brain!

Must have, I grew up with these lovely stories
Absolutely lovely. The stories are so gentle, and kind. I grew up with these stories, and so did my children. Grand children are up next. Beautiful childhood memories, and I have several friends with the same experience, and they feel the same. Very nicely narrated, perhaps the best early childhood book ever written.
