I am enjoying this retelling of Red Riding Hood

This is a great retelling of the loved Red Riding Hood. It is an adult version with a twist. I am enjoying the series and looking forward to reading book three.

I do NOT recommend this series.

That is unless you like mulling, ignorant MC females. Why would an alpha male love a simple minded weak female. I do NOT recommend this series!

Not what I expected

At first I thought I knew how the book was going to go. I even switched to other books but always came back to this. I am so glad I did. Of course the authors did their thing and it didn’t go at all the way I thought. So worth the credit!!!! Glad I bought the other books in the series as well!

Did Not Like the Narrators

I really liked the story, I just couldn't get past the narrators. The female narrator sometimes sounded too old for Red's character and her voice would do this really weird pitch at times. The male narrator, in my opinion, was terrible - no infliction and very monotone. I hesitated to purchase the second book because of the narrators, but the way the first book ended, I wanted to know what was going to happen. So, good story, just not a fan of these narrators.

It's ok

I thought the series had promise, but after trying 2 books, I won't continue. I realized I didn't listen to even half of it when it was done. The female narrator isn't so much the problem. The male narrator uses the same cadence and tone for every character. I can't even tell which character he's trying to portray. He has a nice voice, but he's just...boring. The story itself doesn't interest me enough to read it. There are much better shifter/romance/naughty/fantasy listens out there.

really

not only did the author make the main character love and have sex 3 brothers (gross) the narrator speaks strangely some time... she speak higher on the very last letter of a word... it's very strange and distracting!
