Publisher's Summary

Pushed by her driven mother to become the best in her field, Penny believes Fate has stepped in when she receives word she isn't just an heiress to Steele Ranch, but had a father she never knew. She takes her chance to break free from the family she never truly felt a part of and heads to Barlow, Montana.

Two cowboys have set their sights on the smart, beautiful blonde and they have no intention of letting her go. Jamison and Boone will give her whatever she wants, especially since she's wrangled their hearts. This is the second book in the Steele Ranch series, where the women are smart, sassy and will give their men one wild ride.

Book was good... Narration awful

Although I enjoyed the story I could not stand the narration... When picking a narrator for a book, especially with steamy sex seems such as this book, it is imparitive for you to find a good person who doesn't sound like a minor or has no emotion to her voice. She was overall monotone throughout the book and sounded prebubesent 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️... That is all!!!

Heiress and her cowboys

This as a short listen and was pretty explicit. The characters were not quite believable, it the story moved along quickly. The two heroes took one look at the heroine and wanted her, despite the 16 yr age gap. The heroine was a very intelligent woman who had just finished her Masters Degree when she found out a father she never knew had left his ranch to her in his will. All she ever wanted was a home and family of her own, not to be pushed to get a Doctorate like her politician mother demanded. The romance is hot and fast. Narration was well done, but I would have liked some male voices.
