Publisher's Summary

The Demon King crossed over to our world looking for something that was stolen from him. What he found was me.

It used to be that the president was the most powerful person in the country. That all changed when Wrath came to our world. He’s more powerful than anything we’ve ever faced.

Now there are websites dedicated to worshipping him. Countless internet memes about how ridiculously gorgeous he is. And yeah, I can admit he’s fine as hell. But he’s a villain to end all villains. There’s no way I’m falling prey to that.

That is until I accidentally cross paths with the Demon King and he demands I kneel at his feet. For a second, I almost do. Being around him is...consuming. But dying is better than surrendering, and I refuse.

Except when Wrath turns his dark, dangerous power on me...it doesn’t work. And now the villain is looking at me like I’m the enemy.

I manage to get away, but word quickly spreads--I’m somehow immune to the Demon King.

Now Wrath is hell-bent on destroying me, and those who want to destroy him are hell-bent on using me.

I’m no heroine. And I’m certainly no villain. But if I’m going to survive, I have to play the game. If the Demon King wants a fight, he’s going to get one. If only I could stop falling into his bed long enough to destroy him.

Wrath & Reign is a villain enemies-to-lovers paranormal romance trilogy. You can expect lots of tension, action, twists, and hate kissing, and a villain you love to love. Please check the author's website for TWs.

Story is good

The story itself is pretty good. A hard listen though, I would have enjoyed this a lot more had I just decided to read it instead. The narrator isn’t great, her male voices are all the same and sound very.. awkward. The spicy scenes kind of give me the ick, instead of being sexy, which is partially how they are written and how they are narrated.

Not to bad

Who was your favourite character, and why?
I love Wrath, he was bad with a sliver of good thrown in. I loved him from the beginning

Did the characters feel real to you?
Yes and no, Wrath was a great bad guy. Reign or Rain was a positive and negative. Her charater was well written.

Did the story keep you guessing?
Yes, I was wondering what was going to happen between Wrath and Reign.

What was your favourite part of the book, and why? Book 3 was the best.

Did the book make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a few times and smiled a few times.

Did the story grip you and keep you turning the pages?
I kept listening because I purchased the book this time and didnt want to waste a credit.

Was the story too scary for your liking, or did it focus on a theme you didn't find interesting?
It was good to listen to. I found there were slow times but continued to stick with it. I think it was worth while.

Story is excellent, Narrator not to much

The narrator is awkward and ruins the story. I don’t recommend listening to this. Reading will give you a much better experience.

Pretty Good

I listened to this after finishing Nikki St. Crowe's Vicious Lost Boys 1-3, since I am waiting for the 4th to become available. I think I am just too stuck on the other series to have given this my full attention. However, this was fun and violent with dark toxic romance, What's not to like? We all want a demon king to become obsessed with us.
The voice actress' male voice was a bit of a mood killer though. I find it takes a particular talent to have a good delivery on a "good girl" moment.
Overall great listen for storyline and performance.
