Life changing

I needed a change in life. I’m Not so optimistic never have been. I once was an amazing mom but 4 kids later and I let the little things consume me and the joy be removed. I let the thoughts and cares of the world change who I was. This book reset me. I am and will reread this book several times. If I wasn’t a nursing student I would listen to it once a month. The audio being read by the author makes it authentic and keeps you listening. If you are struggling to find a balance in life, looking for peace, or to reset. YOU NEED THIS BOOK.

One of my favorites

I have listened to (and read!) this book countless times! life is a rollercoaster....whenever I'm down, this is my go to in order to get my head back on the go. Usually listen with intention of her other books as follow on. she just speaks to realistically and conversationally. It feels real and relatable. Highly recommend!

This is the answer to my prayers

Everything I’ve battled with, mostly internally, was touched on in this book. It’s very easy to listen to throughout your day, and the points the author makes aren’t never before heard of, but they’re messages you NEED to hear again. I’m not even finished with the book, but I’ve already recommended it to all of my friends, and want them to read it before they go off to college. An hour in, and I felt empowered and more prepared to tackle the rest of my adulthood. This book helped me ask the necessary questions and gave me tools to live my best unapologetic life. If you struggle with “playing the victim” and have a “woe, is me” mindset, you must listen to this!

Boring

The typical self development book with the same “tell yourself in front of a mirror you’re beautiful, tell the universe what you want, you can everything” and all that c*** that doesn’t make sense if you not work hard, hustle hard...

🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

While the message she is sending is powerful a and useful, her delivery is awful. She loves to tear the same word over, and over and over and over and over again. She makes her point about a situation with far, far too many examples. It’s obvious she is trying to just put words on a page. She uses “cutesy” words that leaver her sounding not so intelligent. I enjoyed the books message, but the author not so much.
