My name is Barry lee cusick I am a first time published sketch artist I illustrated for Mick Strawn in the behind the screams book 3 of my drawings were published in the book along with my name I was freaking out when I saw my name. I started drawing when I was in headstart my first drawing was freddy krueger it wasn’t very well done but I didn’t discover my talent until later later on!
I was introduced to the arts by an art teacher from pocola public school.
I was also seduced by the horror genre
When I was a kid. I hated going to school every day but I loved being at home. I always felt like I didn’t fit in for a long time I didn’t know why but now I know why it was because I was different it was because I am autistic but I had no idea at the time anyway I was trying to become a self-taught artist and now I am I love drawing graphic art making canvas art is amazing back in the day i was drawing on scrap paper doing scrap pieces, things that make me autistic. I’m obsessed with tv and horror films and superheroes my favorite superheroes Sheldon Cooper,
Superman, Wolverine, spiderman, Incredible Hulk, Ironman, Thor, Batman,Barry lee cusick
