Der Erzähler, ein Schriftsteller mit eingerostetem Fabuliertalent und großer Fahrradleidenschaft, staunt nicht schlecht, als plötzlich so ein gefiedertes Urzeitreptil vor ihm steht. Die neugierige Velociraptorin will nämlich noch schneller werden: Sie möchte von ihm das Radfahren lernen. Und so beginnen die beiden eine Reise durchs Alphabet, von A wie "Aufpumpen" bis Z wie "Ziel", und lernen ganz nebenbei die wichtigsten Begriffe, Regeln und Tipps rund ums Fahrradfahren.
