Bis heute zieht Charlotte Brontës Geschichte über die willensstarke Jane Eyre, die in Liebe zu dem rauen Edward Rochester entbrennt und sich doch von ihm lossagt, überall auf der Welt Leser und Hörer in ihren Bann. Die Schauspielerin Sophie Rois interpretiert dieses literarische Meisterwerk in einer mitreißenden Lesung, für die sie 2006 mit dem Deutschen Hörbuchpreis ausgezeichnet wurde.
