Spirian Saga

On the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, a spiritual war brews among the Spirian race. During one of the many conflicts, clan leader Khalen was forced to kill his mate after she was seduced by the Shadows. Now, he vows to banish them from his territory forever, but like most adversaries, if you kill one, many take its place. His soul lingers in a dark turmoil of mistrust and vengeance until a most unexpected female enters his life.

Skye is willing to give Khalen all the time he needs to make up his mind about their inevitable union. What she doesn't count on is his rash decision to give her away to his closest friend. Khalen knows he cannot protect her. His gift to Aidan, however, is not well received and Skye decides to leave the clan. This is something Khalen never considered. What started out as a sacrifice to save the female he loves, ends at the gateway of hell from which he may never escape.

To test one's spirit, a soul must live through the unthinkable, survive the unbearable, and reach for the impossible. Being a legend is not something Skye ever wanted. The fact remains, however, and she must live up to the part; even when it means allowing the human in her to die. Skye does this and more, but not without the help of her mate, Khalen.

Avel questions why the Angels of the High Council have sent him back to Earth for a mission involving Elle, but there's no time to dwell on it. Vincent, a dangerous necromancer, is after a book in Elle's possession. Once he has the book, he intends to use it and Elle to invoke a terrible evil. Avel forms an alliance with the Spirians - an alliance that changes everything.

Ian and Erika have a great friendship; one where status does not matter. When Erika is pursued by a high-status male, however, Ian's protective instincts flare and a gauntlet is thrown that he is not prepared to accept; but accept he must or lose the female he loves forever.
