This is a story manipulated by a mad scientist, who kidnaps animals for experimentation, creating lots of new species. Annie Softnose, the local cat, magically becomes entangled in a web of deceit. Her world collides with Featherpaws...a "scientific creation" who is on a mission! Their journey together helps Featherpaws find his true self, and he learns to appreciate his own quirky uniqueness.

Featherpaws is amazed when he discovers that his next mission is sailing around the world in his own ship. He cruises the oceans to collect information and then feeds it into his new friend’s database. CO2 is a unique computerized trainer who reminds everyone to be careful of their carbon footprint. Together, the Knights of Owl Crest find themselves facing many challenging situations.
