Dave Beddow was born in a small coal mining town in the Hatfield-McCoy region of southern West Virginia, a town visited by JFK five years later. After college, where he graduated with high honors in history, and law school, he joined a large, international law firm where his first mentor was Bill Coleman, a historic lawyer who, among many other things, was a senior counsel on the Warren Commission investigating the Kennedy assassination. With the eye of a historian and lawyer, he has closely studied the facts surrounding the events of November 22, 1963, for decades.
