Due to unusual circumstances, Randidly starts in an isolated dungeon far beyond his level, forced to rely on the mysterious Traveler Shal in order to learn and survive with the dangerous new status quo for his world. Fischer has everything he could possibly want in life: a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property from which to fish, friendships that blossom more and more by the day, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant—or a really large dog. If it were up to him, he'd spend the rest of his life laying in the shade with Maria at his side, a rod in one hand and a fresh pastry in the other. Unfortunately for Fischer, cosmic forces still don't care about mortal feelings.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. I thoroughly enjoyed this story
If you are hesitant about this one don't be, one of the best narrators I have had the pleasure of listening to reads a captivating story a little more mature than I was expecting for the genre. The story is centered between large amounts of action and enjoyable lulls.

a solid start
This series is another one based off a new game that steals the world's attention. it has its own systems and restrictions like all do.
The book takes about 4 hours to get into the meat of the game, and once it starts you won't be able to put it down.
I am a huge fan of The Ten Realms, and the building of a city and defense of said city. This scratches that itch, and I am eager for the next book.
