Timeline is this book is messed up.
Timeline is this book is messed up.
In the last book, the children were 5 (Grace) and 7 (Jack). Fiona was pregnant, 14 weeks which is just over 3 months. An average pregnancy lasts between 9-10 months.
In this book, both Fiona and Janie give birth to their babies but Jack is 9 and Grace is 7. This is not possible and very irritating.
Also, when Marie comes into close contact with someone who has the flu she never should have been allowed to be in contact with newborns or the parents of the newborns until she was certain she wasn’t a carrier. She could have unknowingly caused those babies to die by coming into close contact with them or their caregivers if she’d been a carrier of that awful flu.
I truly loved the characters of Marie and Matt. I love how they’re written, how they interact and Joy Nash always does an incredible job with the voices.
