Being a double merlin sucks. You’d think having power, having people treat you with respect, an insanely awesome inheritance waiting for me, and knowing you could do really awesome (awful) things would be cool. It isn’t. Light magic with a hook.

I was worried that this series would be just too sappy but I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of characters and how the story line pulled me in and so I kept reading (I’m going on to book 4 now). The first book was ok but I really got hooked on the second book in the series. Love it.
