Story
When a pseudonymous programmer introduced “a new electronic cash system that’s fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party” to a small Online mailing list in 2008, very few paid attention. Ten years later, and against all odds, this upstart autonomous decentralized software offers an unstoppable and globally-accessible hard money alternative to modern central banks. The Bitcoin Standard analyzes the historical context to the rise of Bitcoin, the economic properties that have allowed it to grow quickly, and its likely economic, political, and social implications.

Story
In The Fiat Standard, world-renowned economist Saifedean Ammous applies his unique analytical lens to the fiat monetary system, explaining it as a feat of engineering and technology just as he did for bitcoin in his global best seller The Bitcoin Standard. This time, Ammous delves into the world's earlier shift from the gold standard to today's system of government-backed fiat money—outlining the fiat standard's purposes and failures; deriving the wider economic, political, and social implications of its use; and examining how bitcoin will affect it over time.

You see, we are still in just the third inning of crypto as a financial entity. So, while no financial vehicle is making people rich as quickly as cryptocurrency, less than eight percent of Americans and three percent of the worldwide population owns it! Story
An expert, story-driven account of how Coinbase won the cryptocurrency game and set itself up to lead the future of banking and blockchain-based trading. This is the story of the people who made Coinbase, per PitchBook, “one of the most valuable startups in the US,” including the stoic, preppy founder and CEO Brian Armstrong and the bitcoin-obsessed former lumberjack Olaf Carlson-Wee, who turned their backs on the first generation of wild-eyed Bitcoin prophets to build something more profound and practical.

Good book
It teaches you the basic principles behind blockchain and the Ethereum platform. How to use it, what type of applications it's good for and why it has more potential than bitcoin.
It's a good start for those who want to understand and be part of this revolutionary technology.

Lacking
Way too short. Lacking a lot of important information. Nothing on mining. Could have put another 10 hours to it to get something comparable the the bitcoin standard book. Save your money and watch a couple youtube vids instead.
