This is an interesting take on a attack from aliens, with a realistic feel. Not an action movie but the pacing is great and the characters engaging

Even with a good characters and narration I was disappointed with the book. I was expecting a first contact story and the author delivered however you never really meet the aliens. There is a short interaction between humans and aliens but you don’t get to know them.
The story mostly focuses on the human characters. Disappointing ☹️
