Publisher's Summary

The fate of peculiardom hangs in the balance in this epic conclusion to the number-one best-selling Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

The last thing Jacob Portman saw before the world went dark was a terrible, familiar face.

Suddenly, he and Noor are back in the place where everything began - his grandfather’s house. Jacob doesn’t know how they escaped from V’s loop to find themselves in Florida. But he does know one thing for certain: Caul has returned.

After a narrow getaway from a blood-thirsty hollow, Jacob and Noor reunite with Miss Peregrine and the peculiar children in Devil’s Acre. The Acre is being plagued by desolations - weather fronts of ash and blood and bone - a terrible portent of Caul’s amassing army.

Risen from the Library of Souls and more powerful than ever, Caul and his apocalyptic agenda seem unstoppable. Only one hope remains - deliver Noor to the meeting place of the seven prophesied ones. If they can decipher its secret location.

Jacob and his friends will face deadly enemies and race through history’s most dangerous loops in this thrilling pause-resister, the final adventure in the beloved Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series.

A worthy ending!

If you’ve read/listened to the first five books. You might as well finish the series and discover the ending. It’s a bit of a “suddenly it’s all solved” ending, but I’d still recommend it. Enjoy!

A nice ending to the series.

The story seems like it was written quickly as there are a number of unanswered questions. However, it it still a good story and ending to a beloved series.

Great series finale

I had only heard of this series because of the movie trailer a few years back and Eva Green playing Miss Peregrine, though I'd never seen the film. I gave the first book a try after having it on my list for a year. That wasn't even a month ago, and here I am having finished this last book of the 6 book series and having pre-ordered Ransom Riggs next release slated for this summer.

A great series overall that I can see myself revisiting in the future. It wasn't too juvenile for an adult to enjoy which is what I had initially feared and why it had been on my list for so long before giving the series a try.

This finale had a great resolution, though I did find the big bad to be a bit annoying and whiney sounding. Now I'll have to finally watch the movie albeit now knowing that such a great series never got the appreciation it deserved to be entirely committed to film.
