Story
Jasper Sutton—London’s most dedicated scoundrel—needs a wife, and he needs one quickly. He needs one yesterday, in fact. His requirements are precise: she must be capable of mothering the wild twin daughters who have unexpectedly appeared in his life, and so must possess the patience of a saint and the understanding of an angel. Better still if she is plain and has no expectation of a true marriage. He is not about to reform his ways.

Too frequently perhaps, for the king intends to curb their constant bickering by ordering them to wed. Helen can't refuse a royal decree, but she'll do everything possible to drive away her devilishly attractive husband-to-be.

10 stars
How can I describe this 10 star book? I rarely find myself in tears over a book, but this one had me sobbing the first chapter. You can't help but root for this couple, but worry for the possibility of a HEA. Kate Reading was a great narrator. An amazing story that I can't recommend enough.

Interesting Story, Disappointing Narration
Great story but the narration made me want to constantly turn it off. Kate's reading sounds like a 60 year old woman trying to do the voices of 20 year olds and failing miserably. Very annoying. I will not be listing to another book of this genre narrated by her.
