I love the series, there is never a dull moment. Cannot get enough of Massimo or Laura!!

SPOILERS AHEAD

I gave book 1 5 stars, book 2 4 stars. But book 3 would gets 0 stars (if I bothered to listen to it)

Apparently, the author decided to trash her own story. Laura & Massimo do not end up together. Laura leaves him for another man and Massimo turns down right evil and drug addicted. He even kills her dog FFS!

I will never purchase ANYTHING by this author again! Audiobooks are not cheap and if I could return this book and the second book so that the author got nothing, I would! What a waste of time and money! I am NOT happy that I used 2 precious credits (which total $30 for me) only to have the author take a stick of dynamite to her own story! WHO DOES THAT!

Anyway, you have been warned!


Book 1 review of narration

Sebastian York only reads the first chapter. The rest is done by Maya Starling. She does a really good job. I really feel for Maya because she going to have to read that upcoming crap!

I could not put this book away. I felt like I was invested in the relationship between Laura and Massimo. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants to read or listen to a story of people who should not be together but should never be apart.

Attention Grabbing

I love the book, I give it a 4 stars because of some bits that were weirdly write in my taste (too much like it was a 16 years old full of hormone talking).
But i love the story, but its clearly not a type of story for everyone. Its basicly :he kidnapp Her To make Her fall in love. If you are not in this type of kink (being take by a strong, beautiful stranger who want you deeply) you Will not like it, even dislike it. I heard a lot of people saying that it rape culture and romantisize stockholmes syndrome. Its a story, a fantasm, its not mean To be reality. I dont want To be kidnap and yet i love the story, as its my type of kink.

LOVE THIS BOOK

I listened only because I didn't want to return a book and I want to read/listen to a novel before seeing the movie.

The narrators did an amazing job with what they were given- nothing wrong with this aspect

The story was just incomplete and writing was not polished compared to other novels. And compared to other stories I find this not believable.... I don't know but something about the writing was off to me.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this one. I'm not rushing to the sequels.
