A human female with the good aliens they had rescued her were in a town square when she saw a beautiful bird like animal shifter stuck in a cage.
Well she frees him and he runs away with her they become mates then her friends find her and bring them to his home world as they asked.
It’s not a nice place to live as it was raided by pirates when he was younger selling him into captivity.
The kids who were left grew up feral and he has to help them rebuild but just as they are her friends come back to the planet asking for Crows help to save one of the human mates with his song.
After that pirates raid where they are and take crow then they go and rescue him and the other people they had taken.

The book was okay but they all kinda feel the same so I’m going to move onto something new
