A simple and sweet story. It's a lovely listen. I'm glad I stayed around to listen to this one, since I really did not enjoy Ruby and Bran's story. Julie Trettel has inconsistencies that make me roll my eyes sometimes, but just ignore those and enjoy the ride.

This was a cute story, single dad who has also had to raise his young brothers basically by himself since mom left & dads a drunk. Him & his brothers are only 1/2 wolf shifters so they don’t really know about mate bonds.

They are also from the opposite ends of the track she’s rich & he’s poor. Their love story includes her falling in love with his daughter and his brothers as if they were her own. Convincing them to help her fix up an old house giving them each her own rooms & beds which they had never experienced before. It’s so cute.

Predictably the ex comes into the story at the end trying to shake things up and take their daughter. The entire book was predictable but it was cute & enjoyable!

I love the progression of their relationship. Strong characters. Good story line. However I find Payton's reaction regarding Evie kind of over the top. She sounded ridiculous!! Anyway, it was a good listen.
