I really enjoyed getting to explore Junior/Nic's character further after getting a sneak peak into him in Lights Out. I liked that this wasn't 'Lights Out 2', but its own side story within the same world that was its own different but equally as delicious flavor.
As always, Navessas writing style is fantastic, her characters unique and satisfying to dive into and uncover. This woman does NOT write one dimensional characters or overdone stories, she gives every classic trope an intriguing new twist.
The narration - 10/10. I mean, you really cant go wrong with Teddy Hamilton, and Im new to the work of Kassi Hollowell, but her role in this was a great fit! 👏👏👏
