the concept of this story was pretty cool, the characters were good the book was steamy but I just found there was too much spanking. don't get me wrong im all about aggressive smut spankings etc but every scene was brutal. like even the one day where he wanted "to make her smile" he used orgasams to make her cry
just a little too much for me I could have used some tenderness sprinkled through this. plus he is horrid with her near the end tosses her into danger, breaks her heart and then all she needs from him is a simple sorry..... this was a missed opportunity for a great grovel and tenderness scene.

I just can't get over the fact that he rapes her mother, grandmother and the rest of her female ancestors and is totally okay with all of it. she's the only one who gets the warmth and love from him... it's weird. the story plot frazzled me. if it wasn't for that I'd be totally into it...
