Love this story. I cannot believe that I listened, the first day for 6hrs, and fined it off the next day. It was a little long. But, God know how much I ❤️Shane East

I really liked this book. I liked the marriage of convenience trope, and liked that it took awhile for them to reconcile. I find, at least in the books I pick up, often the main guy screws up royally and then he goes "Oh, sorry by the way" in one discussion and that's it. This book has him apologize, then again, then reaffirm his love for her. It felt like he really took her feelings seriously and cared about her a lot.

A great story, easy to listen to. narrators did a great job, but sounded older than in their thirties.

Also, the text has Shane saying words I wouldn't expect to hear from an Englishman on the regular so it was a little off-putting. Using different (English) references instead of North Americam ones would have helped.

I loved the story of Scarlet and Ryder, so far its my favorite of the series.

So happy for Scarlette, She deserved to be happy they all do. Didnt want to have it end. I was hoping for more interaction with the other charaters in the series. Shane East is delightful, I could listen to him read to me all night, and Saskia is spot on.

If only we could all find a wonderful, sexy, single fella as easily as Scarlett did 😉 Their relationship started with fireworks and ended with a love inferno. The path is almost as important as the destination, it's a great third installment!

I am a bit new to romances on audio but I think I got spoiled with my first few which have the narration style of the main narrators reading all their lines in each chapter - I do not love the narrators reading as the other character, especially the bedroom scenes. Aside from that, while I could listen to Shane East talk in my ear all day, Ryder sounds like a jerk and I didn’t really like the chapters described from his perspective. I do like the Scarlett character, though I wish she’d be a bit stronger during their interactions.

It’s worth trying out but wasn’t my favourite.

The good narration gave me hopes early on that there would be enough unique story elements that it wouldn’t be same-old-same-old… but alas, nope! Still the rich emotionally cold, massively successful man meets gorgeous woman who is the first woman ever to get him to open up…and they have phenomenal sex while he orders her around…but *shocker* then she pushes him away because *you’ll never guess* she is scared of feeling too much/getting hurt/what if he doesn’t really love her?
Yawn.

I’d love one of these to be a good romance that I could script myself.
