The sex scenes were hot, but the storyline is not. Jace, a man who came from nothing and worked his way up, acting like a depraved obsessive sociopathic lunatic when he meets Bethany. Tracking her down, giving her little explanation with a little time to ask questions or give consent. he had so much patience with her when they first met and the amount of red flags that are cropping up now make it impossible for me to want to keep listening. The first book was incredible but this story just isn’t doing it for me.

Made it to chapter 10 and the story is too cringe for me
