I enjoyed every moment of this story. Yes it's a typical love story. Yes the sex scenes are typical but also super steamy. But the characters are beautiful, even the small ones like the townspeople. I will definitely listen to this again. Not to spoil the ending but it left me with happy tears in my eyes. Probably my favorite from Louise Bay so far. And a special shout out to Sebastian York who is the best narrator on Audible. His voice would sound good reading the phonebook. lol

Louise Bay is a master at romance. Familiar storyline but the narration was fantastic

The characters, and famous actor meets small town girl is always a romance standard but this was interesting.

My favorite scene started right away when she saved from the lightning storm

There are enough little plot additions/twists to keep the story fresh while keeping all the best parts of having that typical steamy love affair with a movie star trope. Adding this to my favourites list, I'll be listening to it again.

I did enjoy the book for the most part, and there were some steamy parts that were pretty good, but overall it was very predictable and nothing special. I found my mind wandering frequently and not hear what the last 5 mins was about, but often didn’t care enough to go back and listen again. I don’t think it’s as good as other books by the author
