Our past tragedies are what make us who we are today. They shape us into the adults we will be. What happens when every bit of your childhood was tragic? What kind of adult do you become? These two characters found themselves asking just that question. They grew up to be productive, but their emotional damage was deep. After finding each other, they wonder if they are simply too broken to make it work.
I absolutely loved this audiobook. The reader was fantastic! The voices weren’t over the top, but were easy enough to be easily distinguishable between each one.
Will I listen to another audiobook by Olivia Cunnings? You bet I will! I’m hoping she has the same reader. If not, I’m sure I’m going to love the next story just as much as Hot Ticket.
