About this listen

Jessie Heaton is a fearless, flame-haired computer hacker. Independent and feisty, she’s relied on no one but herself since the age of sixteen.

Working for the Russians, she is finally close to getting the one thing she wants most in life, when she’s stopped in her tracks by the notorious Ryan brothers.

The Ryans are Irish Mafia. They are unstoppable. No one stands in their way. And nothing comes between a Ryan and his family.

That is, until the hurricane that is Jessie crashes into their lives. With a world full of secrets and a past that she can’t outrun, will she be their salvation or their downfall?

Ryan Rule is book one in the New York Ruthless series, a reverse harem, dark mafia romance. It deals with mature themes that may be triggering for some listeners, and it ends on a cliffhanger.

I’ve reread the entire series (including the short stories) numerous times but hearing it…. Made it 10 times better!

The BEST

I enjoyed the story and characters, but the biggest detractor was the performances by both narrators BUT ESPECIALLY Hollie Jackson, that completely ruined it for me. Maybe it was because I just finished another Sadie Kincaid audiobook with awesome narrators doing dual narration, but this audio experience was a complete fail for me. I’ve no idea how this has earned so many top stars as an audio book!! Bottom line - I’m sorry I invested one whole Audible credit on this book despite listening to a sample audio before purchase. I think I’m better off sticking to the author’s dark romance mafia stories or e-book versions of the remaining books in this series.

I liked the narrators voices. The story was enjoyable. No complaints. Everything made sense - this thing wont allow me to submit my post unless I have 15 words…. That’s pretty annoying.

Voice and enunciation is always wrong, like a kindergarten teacher reading a children's book, yuck. Ruins the story, which is thin already.

Worst female performer

Best book I have heard in a very long time. But… the voices keep throwing me off.
