Christian Fox a wonderful job like always is a pleasure to lisent to him, but the story… the story is great except the heroine, I hate that she is weak and lets the people around her believe that the male forced himself on her just because she doesn’t like confrontation, while he is fighting for her, she cowards and hides behind people and assumptions to keep him at distance.

Um. I get that she’s a 20-something virgin & a preacher’s daughter but her total cluelessness made her appear dumb. Not my vibe.

Denial, lies, cowardice all in such a short story, setup for a bad ending.
Pierce may be portrayed as the bad guy, but it’s Bria and her so called best friend that are cowards. Not liking this series, might not pay to listen to the second part.
