Dr. Sugawara – Neurosurgeon, Director of Sugawara Neurosurgery Clinic, and Chairman of Akasaka Park Building Neurosurgery Medical Corporation Dr. Sugawara was born in 1970 and graduated from Kyorin University School of Medicine. He began his career at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, where he treated urgent brain conditions such as subarachnoid hemorrhage and stroke. In 2000, he joined Kitahara International Hospital in Hachioji, Tokyo, with the dream of building a medical system that could support people continuously—from emergency care to home care. For 15 years, he cared for more than 1,500 patients each month and developed his own style of medicine: looking at health through the lens of each person’s life goals. In June 2015, he opened Sugawara Neurosurgery Clinic as a place where people can feel safe, enjoy their lives, and work toward their personal dreams while receiving medical support. Today, the clinic mainly provides care for headaches, dizziness, memory concerns, and the prevention of brain disease. On October 1, 2019, the Tokyo Brain Dock in Akasaka, Minato-ku, reopened, offering even more opportunities for brain health checkups and preventive care.
