Ann S Woodbury, a resident of Salt Lake City, is a mother of four children (now adults) who have Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy (DM). Ann S Woodbury holds a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Relationships from the University of Utah, and works with Utah State University Extension, teaching classes. Ann is a facilitator for multiple DM support groups and has conducted break-out sessions at the National Myotonic Dystrophy Conferences. Ann enjoys being the Go To Expert about DM on many radio shows. As advocate for her children, Ann has become an expert at navigating the healthcare, hospital and insurance systems and wants to offer empowerment tools to parents, teachers, healthcare providers and all those suffering with DM.
