Annemarie is an Irish-born novelist and short story writer. She studied literature at Trinity College Dublin before qualifying as a lawyer and moving to London, where she still lives. Her short stories have appeared in many publications in Ireland, the UK and the US and have been broadcast on Irish radio. Short fiction awards include the Columbia Journal prize (US), the Michael McLaverty and Bryan MacMahon short story awards (Ireland) and the Posara prize for writing about Italy. In the UK, she has been a Bridport prizewinner, and was runner-up in the inaugural KWS Hilary Mantel short story prize.
