Asetah Dula, who writes under the Pen Name of 'ASEERA' was born and raised Philadelphia. She is one of seven children born to parents married over fifty years. In her twenties she moved to Virginia to provide a better life for her children. There she met and married the love of her life, Ryan, a Sailor in the US Navy. She has always had a love for writing and in 2017 published her first book. Since then, many have followed. With over eighty books available on Amazon, and many more yet to be published. She writes across many genres. This includes, Black Historical Fiction, Urban, Contemporary, Women's Literature, Self-help, Mystery and Suspense and YA. She is a Ghostwriter who offers editing, manuscript development and other services. Aseera is a 2022 UBAWA Top 100 Author of the year as well a 2023 Pencraft Award winner for Best Book Fiction-Supernatural for 'Cursed to Live...Again'. She has started her own publishing company called DreamWakeWork Publishing She is the mother of four and has three dogs, Majesty, Duke and Sir Baron Blu. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse who also holds a BA and MA in Psychology with a concentration on Mediation and Conflict Resolution. She looks forward to hearing from her readers via reviews.
