Bettina Hunt lives in the East of England with her husband and two young sons. Bettina Hunt writes uplifting romances. Cosy, character-driven stories featuring meet-cutes, imperfect but lovable protagonists, personal growth, supportive friendships, and ultimately feel-good happy endings - classic rom-com tropes delivered with humour and heart. She’s loved stories since childhood, writing her first at primary school and discovering early on that making people smile was her favourite thing to do. When she’s not writing, Bettina enjoys comedy, theatre, cocktails, and afternoon tea. She can’t dance (but is currently taking Salsa lessons) loves to sing whenever she can, and does all her own stunts (usually by accident). Bettina has dyspraxia and is passionate about raising awareness through her writing, including her novel A Girl Like Me. She was named Dyspraxic Advocate of the Year 2025. She’s also a co-host of the Love At First Write Podcast, chatting all things romance, writing, and books she loves.
