Mr Biegel is a best-selling author and multi-award winning filmmaker. In addition to his book Miracle Ball, he wrote, directed and executive produced a documentary version of the story, which aired nationally in 2012 on one of the Discovery channels. The Miracle Ball franchise is in negotiations with studios and production companies to be converted into a major motion picture. Biegel is attached as a producer along with his partners Tom Thayer and Robert A. Harris. Biegel's recent TV and film creations include a documentary series called the SPORTS DETECTIVES, airing in early 2016 on the SMITHSONIAN CHANNEL, as well as a documentary called THE COUNTERFEITER for the Emmy Award winning series, "30 for 30" distributed by ESPN. The air date for Counterfeiter is also early 2016. Mr. Biegel's pro-bono work includes a short film he made for a festival run in 2006 called "Getting My Child Back: Fighting Autism." The film was critically acclaimed and won Best Educational Film at the New York International film festival. Biegel is currently developing both non-fiction TV series' and feature documentaries under his prod co, Odyssey Entertainment. He's partnered with several award-winning prod cos. Mr. Biegel lives and works in his hometown, New York City at the present with an eye on expanding to South Florida.
