Carl T. Bogus is the author of three books -- "Madison's Militia: The Hidden History of the Second Amendment" (Oxford University Press), Buckley: William F. Buckley Jr. and the Rise of American Conservatism" (Bloomsbury), and "Why Lawsuits Are Good for America: Disciplined Democracy, Big Business and the Common Law" (NYU Press) -- and the editor of a fourth book about the Second Amendment. He has also written articles in professional journals and popular venues, including The Nation, American Prospect, USA Today, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, Washington Times, Providence Journal, among others.
