Chaplain Cary A. Friedman is Associate Director of the Law Enforcement Survival Institute (LESI) and a police trainer specializing in stress-management and ethical decision-making. A consultant to the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI, he has spoken at the FBI's National Academy and on FBITN satcasts, and addresses LE audiences across the USA. Formerly a chaplain at the Federal prison in Butner, NC, Chaplain Friedman is the author of nine books (including "Spiritual Survival for Law Enforcement," "Wisdom from the Batcave," and "The Superhero Handbook for Cops") and numerous articles (published in The Gazette of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the FBI's Law Enforcement Bulletin, and other journals).
