Cheryl Jarvis is an award-winning essayist and author whose books have been published in 19 countries and translated in 16 languages. The Marriage Sabbatical: The Journey That Brings You Home was featured in major media worldwide. She has written for many national and regional publications, including The Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, Publishers Weekly, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Healthy Woman, MORE, Reader's Digest and Writer's Digest. A former television producer, magazine and newspaper editor, and freelance journalist, she has taught writing at the University of Southern California and at Washington University in St. Louis.
