Cindy Villanueva (1961-) was born and raised in San Jose, California. She's the owner and seventh-degree black belt master instructor of Ernie Reyes West Coast World Martial Arts in Austin, TX; the founder and principal of Knockout Marketing Strategies, a boutique marketing communications agency; and a senior adjunct professor in the College of Business and Communication at Concordia University Texas. Cindy holds a bachelor's degree in Management and Ethics from William Jessup University in California and an MBA from Concordia University Texas. A mother of four and grandmother of two, Cindy lives in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She writes a weekly column on Substack, titled Because Words Matter, where she discusses the value and power of words. Bread pudding is her favorite dessert and Barcelona is her favorite city!
