Clare has taught writing workshops in elementary and middle schools throughout the Northwest and to adults at Richard Hugo House, a writers cooperative in Seattle, Washington. She is a frequent guest speaker, most recently at a Business of Writing class at Pacific Lutheran University in 2019 and will be presenting at the Fall WLA conference in Spokane, Washington in October 2020.
