Spanish is Claudia’s first language, and she has lived in the U.S. since 1984. She has always enjoyed teaching. Being very qualified at only seventeen, she got her first part time teaching position as a Speed-writing instructor. Claudia taught several adult classes at an Intensive Courses School in which her students were not sure that a seventeen year old could teach them something since they were much older than her. The class was amazed at her ability and knowledge so she quickly earned their respect and admiration. That experience forever increased her confidence while at the same time started her long lasting love for learning and teaching! Claudia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies. She home schooled her daughters for many years and was the founder and director for six years of YWiSE Club, Young Women in Search of Excellence, a club for teen and pre-teen young ladies focused on leadership skills and biblical principles. For many years she has been teaching Spanish and ESL to children, teens and adults, both privately and in small groups. Her students’ confidence and grades improved greatly after just a few lessons. The success of her students is her motivation! Every time her students tell her how they have been able to use what she has taught them and getting them excited about the Spanish language, motivates her more and more to be the best teacher she can be. Claudia finds it exciting to keep empowering them to speak Spanish and pronounce it correctly. Claudia has narrated several audio-books in Spanish for children, as well as fiction and nonfiction books. She also has a bilingual voice over business.
