Coral Celeste Frazer has a passion for accumulating information, processing it, sorting it, and using it to construct a compelling story or argument. She especially loves writing nonfiction for young people about social justice issues. She has written about economic inequality, its causes and effects, as well as the history of the woman suffrage movement. She is awed by the bravery and dedication of the women and men who have fought for the rights of marginalized people throughout history, and hopes that her books might help inspire some young people to fight for their own vision of a better world. Coral was born and raised in Montrose, Colorado and is still a mountain girl at heart. But she also loved living in Boston, Massachusetts (or more specifically Somerville) and Portland, Oregon. She currently resides in lovely Norwich, England, a city proud of its reputation for having a pub for every day of the year and a church for every Sunday. Today some of its dozens of medieval churches have been transformed into antique shops, museums, and circus schools.
