David Mezzapelle is the author of Contagious Optimism, an uplifting book series that includes real stories from real people around the globe which demonstrates that every cloud has a silver lining. Mezzapelle believes that we can all make optimism contagious just by sharing our life's adventures, our successes, and even our failures. Mezzapelle was the founder of Goliath Technology, a data center infrastructure company that supported enterprises worldwide. He also orchestrated one of the most innovative internship programs ever created which has become a staple for organizations today. After selling Goliath, Mezzapelle launched several companies and philanthropic initiatives along with serving on several public and private boards. Throughout his life Mezzapelle has encountered great peaks and valleys, all of which he is thankful for. He never lost sight along the way and has kept his glass "completely full." A graduate of Fairfield University in Connecticut, David works with the students at Fairfield on this Contagious Optimism project every semester. The experience has proven successful for the students in many ways. A portion of the proceeds from for Contagious Optimism will go to Fairfield University and various charities.
