I’m a retired first grade teacher, breast cancer survivor and patient advocate, award-winning author and member of SCBWI. My husband and I live in the neck (a long narrow strip of land along a river) along the St. Croix River in Minnesota with our grandchildren living next door with their parents. My entertaining stories with their loveable characters include life lessons on problem solving, friendship, cooperation, and love. She lives in rural Hastings, Minnesota with husband Butch. They are both retired and enjoy spending time with their family at home and at their lake home on Rainy Lake in Ontario. You'll find them at home on the St. Croix River on their boat called "Fiddle Fartin' Around." Her daughter and family live next door making it handy for watching her two grandchildren.
