Having authored over 40 children's books, my journey as a writer has been deeply intertwined with my role as a mother to five children (including my cherished son, Gavin R. S., who passed away in 2021; may he rest in peace). Amidst the chaos of parenthood, writing has become my sanctuary, a creative outlet where I can channel my thoughts and energy, especially during the quiet hours of the night. Through my children's books, I aspire to not only entertain but also to impart valuable life lessons, providing young readers with a window into the complexities of the world through the simplicity of storytelling. In addition to my work for children, I have also ventured into the realm of adult literature with my poetry book, "Writings of a Simple Poet." Within its pages, readers will find a collection of poignant, inspiring, and often humorous verses that reflect the depth of human experience.
