Erica J. Whelton is a Texas-based cozy mystery and women's fiction author with over twenty-five published novels across six series, and counting. From culinary capers and paranormal puzzles to small-town secrets and haunted hotels, her stories blend heart, humor, and just enough danger to keep readers turning pages late into the night. Her series include the Alphabet Soup Mysteries, where chef Jessica Vasquez trades recipes for crime-solving; A Medium with a Heart, a paranormal series inspired by Erica's own unexplainable experiences; The Cozy Purrch Cafe Mysteries, featuring a witch, her telepathic cats, and a mountain town full of secrets; The Burnt End Mysteries; The Royal Griffen Hotel Mysteries; and the Finding Herself women's fiction series. Erica's love of storytelling started before she could write. When she struggled to fall asleep as a child, her parents would point to the animal posters on her bedroom walls and say, "Tell stories about them." She grew up with a mother who took her and her brothers to the library every week, letting them check out whatever they wanted, and Erica would spend hours lost in those stacks. She still uses that bedtime storytelling trick to quiet her brain today. After years of dreaming about writing and more than a few false starts, she completed her first book in 2016. She hasn't stopped since. As a proud indie author, she handles everything from formatting to marketing, publishing across multiple platforms in both ebook and paperback. When she's not writing, Erica can be found perfecting her next cup of tea (she believes the process deserves its full ritual), spoiling her house full of pets, and spending time with her husband, three grown children, and three grandsons who are the light of her life. She also has a well-documented weakness for the color pink and basically anything awesome.
