Welcome fellow book lovers, thanks for visiting. Before retiring, I ran my own creative agency and was involved in writing projects for corporate clients and the London theatre world. A Ghost Hunter’s Guide to solving a Murder, the first of the Alma Timperley mysteries, was written following the success of three crime novels set in the Oxfordshire village of Great Tew at the end of World War One. The supernatural elements in all my work are inspired by my own experiences of the paranormal. Since my teens I have had regular encounters with the ‘other side’ and long ago accepted that there is much, much, more to us a human beings than we are aware of. I was signed to Hodder and Stoughton in 2025 and live a quietly pagan life in Somerset, England.
