Filippo Ulivieri (1977) is the leading expert in Stanley Kubrick's cinema in Italy. Since 1999 he manages the website archiviokubrick.it, a collection of documents and information about the life and career of Kubrick. His research about "2001: A Space Odyssey", "A Clockwork Orange", Kubrick's unmade and unfinished projects and his mythological image has been presented in many international conferences and published in books, magazines and journals. He is the author of "Stanley Kubrick and Me: Thirty Years at His Side", biography of Emilio D'Alessandro, personal assistant to Stanley Kubrick. He is co-scenarist of "S is for Stanley" (Alex Infascelli, 2015), winner of the David di Donatello Award for Best Documentary Feature. His latest book is "2001 between Kubrick and Clarke: The Genesis, Making and Authorship of a Masterpiece", which offers a comprehensive narrative of the making of "2001" and explores the relationship between Kubrick and his co-author Arthur C. Clarke.
