Floyd and his wife, Christine, lived in Austria for 15 years, and spent time in Russia. He has been teaching intercultural studies ever since. As of 2023, he is a full professor at Great Northern University in Spokane, WA. He now has eight grandchildren whom he tortures with his stories of his travels. After publishing "Death Came Calling, But I Wasn't Home," he switched to writing nonfiction. This is Floyd's first novel, which he hopes to turn into a series. "I'm 74. Not much time left!"
