Frank H. McCourt, Jr., is a civic entrepreneur, business leader, and founder of Project Liberty—a far-reaching, 500-million dollar initiative to create a better web and world. Project Liberty encompasses the work of the Project Liberty Foundation—an international nonprofit with a partner network that includes Georgetown University, Stanford University, Sciences Po, and numerous academic institutions and civic organizations—and Amplica Labs, a technology business developing the next generation of digital infrastructure. In 2021, Project Liberty released a groundbreaking, open internet protocol—the Decentralized Social Networking Protocol (DSNP)—to support a healthier internet era. A proud Georgetown University alumnus, Frank is the foundational donor of Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
